There's Always a Better Day to Come

French born David moved to New York at sixteen to attend a Yeshiva. From New York, he moved to Los Angeles where he was married and then widowed. I met David at a Lag BaOmer barbecue put together by my rabbi, Rabbi Korf of Chabad of Los Feliz. A personable man, David and I chatted for awhile before it ever occurred to me to film him. In fact, when my friend told me to pull out my camera I took it out and filmed my daughter, Sydney at her first picnic. My friend looked at me and said, "For your blog." I remembered, "Ohh, I have a blog. Good idea."
